Noah - "Daddy, spider man is white."
Me - "Yes, he is Noah."
Noah - "He is also red and blue when he puts on his costume."
Me - "Right again Noah."
Noah - "You are white, and mommy is black, and I am black and white just like Barack Obama."
Me (laughing) - "You are awesome Noah."
So cute and observant. Our girl identifies herself as being brown and we're all white. We strive to help her see past but appreciate the differences.
